Applications for membership

Please complete the following form for membership of northeast jetski.

The cost of membership is £40 annual, £70 key deposit returned on return of key, any lost keys will require a new deposit of £70 before new key issused. Please read the code of conduct and port of tyne byelaws, once you have please complete form and sign box to confirm you agree the code of conduct of the club.

Code of conduct

1               Copy of insurance with application.

2               Life jacket/impact vest/buoyancy aid to be worn by everyone.

3               Follow the Port of Tyne rules and regulations.

4               Dress appropriately for the conditions on the river - wetsuit/drysuit.

5               Respect all other water users.

6               Keep adequate lookout and safe speed for conditions.

7               Age limit for operation craft - members under 18 must be supervised by an adult.

8               No inappropriate language or behaviour - be respectful.

9               Membership can be revoked at the committee's discretion.

10            Slipway - launch and retrieval to be carried out swiftly with sensible parking.

11            East slipway not to be used under any circumstances.

12            No jetski’s left on the slipway - tie off around the corner.

13            Respect for people who are launching.

14            No recreational swimming.

15            Membership stickers must be clearly visible.

16            Six knot limit from the slipway to the east bank of the river Derwent where the speed limit is lifted until the Redheugh bridge.

17            River derwent is off limits to club members.

I have read and accept the attached code of conduct and constitution.  If I do not follow these rules correctly then I take full responsibility for the outcome of my actions and any potential incidents.  I accept that the club and other club members cannot be held responsible in any way.

I have copy of my insurance document for each craft.  I agree for this to be verified with my insurance company.  I will submit an updated copy of my insurance every time it is renewed and I am aware if the insurance lapses then my membership will be revoked.
